Lighting
There are different ways that lighting can be used. Firstly the key lighting. It is the main lighting, which is also the strongest. It is very bright which could create a big effect on the person or object that they are focusing on. Back lighting is another use of lighting. This is to create light behind a person. There will be a big shadow infront of the person, which will mean that you will not be about to see the persons face. This could reate a scene in maybe a horror or thriller film.
The next is the three point lighting. This is used to do a light from the front, left and right. This means that the person standing in the middle stands out. This technique is used in films just to remove away the shadows. Underlighting is used so that a shadow can be made above the character which would be on the ceiling. It could also be used to create a shadow on the face which would also be used in genres such as horrors and thrillers.
Top lighting is used so that the light coming from above and then the audince can see a shadow on the floor. Low key lighting can be used when not all of the light is one. It creates a shadow on only half of the face which could be very mysterious in many ways. Lastly the high key lighting is a main lighting source as it is very bright and allows people too see everything. There will be no shadows in the scene as 4 lights are being used. This will be two from the front and two from the back.
